We worked with the largest independent toy retailer in the UK (Whirligig) to deliver marketing strategy recommendations to increase e-commerce sales by 15% through focussing on website visitor numbers, traffic strategies as well as conversion. In addition, supporting goals were to increase brand awareness focus and increase in-store conversion rates by 25%.
Following a detailed and comprehensive evaluation of the business, we were able to recommend a rebranding of the business, and re-design of elements of the website including the shopping cart experience to reduce abandoned carts.
We recommended a complete revamp of promotional activity including the creation of a new promotional calendar to better exploit seasonal opportunities as well as events and holidays.
We were able to offer a solution to Social Media marketing needs and increase social media platform engagement by 20% across all platforms.
Finally, we were able to produce a marketing and branding plan to increase brand awareness and brand identity on a national level by 20%. These plans are currently in consideration by the business and early indications show a willingness to adopt many of the recommendations.
